We Do It All!!!

Welcome to Troop 845!

Troop 845 meets at Summit Presbyterian Church (256 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford VA 22554) from 7:00-8:30PM every Monday evening during the school year. We don't meet whenever Stafford County Public Schools are out for a holiday or closed for inclement weather. During summer vacation, the troop typically meets the first and third Monday of the month. Summit Presbyterian Church received its initial charter to form a boy scout troop in 1987. During the troop's thirty year history, Troop 845 has garnered a reputation for both high-adventure and high-achievement. Seventy-seven boys from Troop 845 have earned the rank of Eagle Scout during that period (see our Eagles' Nest).

Although the troop's history and past achievements provide a glimpse into the nature and character of the troop, our true focus is on the boys that are in the troop today and those who will join tomorrow. We strive to provide an environment for boys develop their character according to the ideals spelled out in the Scout Oath, the Scout Law, the Scout motto, and the Scout slogan.
